Meet limada (lowercase), a former dancer with a performing arts background spanning over 24 years. Now a sommelier, she specializes in inclusive tasting events and content creation. As a person of color, she brings a unique perspective and dedication to diversity in the wine industry, and with a talent for storytelling, limada enjoys creating immersive content through social platforms.

With her passion for inclusivity in the wine industry, limada is also a certified wine professional through the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET). As the Founder and Creative Director of Rum + Lime, LLC, she hosts events that bring together wine and spirit lovers to build a community around their shared passion. Through Rum + Lime, limada creates memorable experiences that highlight the diversity and beauty of the beverage industry.

Content Creation

In addition to her wine skills, limada is also a storyteller and content creator with experience in photography, graphic design, copy writing, and food styling. In working with restaurants, wine shops, events, and even travel and lifestyle, she aims to share the richness behind the subject – creating a deeper connection between the viewer and the content.

Performance & Choreography

Prior to her career in the wine industry, limada was a full-time dancer, performer, and instructor. She has graced the stage at venues such as the Riverside Theatre, El Museo Del Barrio, Javits Center, Apollo Theater, Ailey Citigroup Theater, and NJ Pac. limada also has performance credits for FX's Pose, eyewear designers Coco & Breezy, fashion brand Friday By Friday, music act Phony Ppl, and others. Additionally, she teaches heels choreography – sharing her love for movement with her students.
